A Home for Alexis Family

$0 of $240,000 raised

We need your support to change a life and build a future. Yvette Alexis, a beloved member of the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation in Alberta, dreams of having a safe, warm, and stable home. But this project is about more than just building a house—it’s about building skills, confidence, and a brighter future for Indigenous workers.

With your help, Metrax Indigenous Corp. will construct a home for Yvette while training eight Indigenous members in hands-on home construction. This project will equip them with valuable trade skills, opening doors to future employment and strengthening the community’s ability to build for itself.

Yvette Alexis, ISET Manager (Indigenous Skill Trades & Employment) for the Yellowhead Tribal Council said: ”We are building opportunity, dignity, and a path forward for our youth”.

To make this dream a reality, we need to raise $240,000. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward materials, training, and labor to complete this home.

Your contribution will:
🏡 Provide Yvette with a safe and secure home
🛠 Train eight Indigenous workers in home construction
🌱 Support long-term community self-sufficiency

Join us in making a lasting impact. Your generosity won’t just build a house—it will build hope, skills, and a stronger future.

👉 Donate today to help us break ground and change lives!

Thank you for believing in this vision.

With gratitude,
Metrax Indigenous Corp.
